To know that people with disabilities can also live well. 本课首先让学生对课前视频内容进行讨论，在师生对答中导入本课的重点词汇（ disabled, disability; ambitious, ambition ），为学生理解课文作铺垫。紧接着以“ Family Village” 这一网站为依托，让学生说出这一网站的目的，直接进入本课主题“身残志坚的残疾人”，并在之后的输出环节设置相应任务：在读者反馈 (Feedback) 栏目进行回帖（结合 summary & comment ）。之后通过快速阅读和仔细阅读，分别让学生把握文章的整体结构和掌握快速筛选细节信息的微技能。在文章细节的问题处理上，通过几个问题的引导，帮助学生克服词汇障碍，正确理解和体会Marty 的情感变化，并学会捕捉文本中的关键细节来支持自己的观点。 作业布置以网页的形式呈现 Nick 的事迹，设置新的语境进行词汇、语言的输出。以 Family Village 这一网站为依托，课堂的小组汇报和课后的笔头作业相结合，有助于学习目标的进一步落实和检测。其中的写作训练 (feedback) ，是课堂口头输出向课外的延伸，是本课教学环节的延续。学生在语言上有所输出，思维认识上有所获得，情感上也得到了升华。1.
