儒家思想的现实意义现代人，虽说物质生活条件有所改善，但心里空虚，没有归属感。虽说是自由的，但有很多麻烦。这与缺少儒家智慧、缺乏自律道德有很大关系。一个人如果放弃儒家价值观(自律道德)，犹如西方的无宗教信仰的人一样，永远是个不健全的人。用今天的话语来讲，在古代中国儒家思想就被理解为人类文明的核心。面对这些资源，现代人具有一个选择的自由，可以吸收资源里面的一些成分，也可抛弃一些成分。我觉得我们应该发扬我们中华民族最优良的传统，那就是包容，即古为今用，批判继承。儒家思想对我们究竟有什么现实意义呢？在批判继承和升华的基础上，我个人认为主要有以下四个方面：（1）自强不息的精神和忧患意识。自强不息是中华民族生生不息永葆青春活力的不竭动力，忧患意识代表的是一种高尚人格，体现的是一种社会责任感和历史使命感。在现代看似和平的表面下我们国家仍然面临着很多挑战，比如“钓鱼岛”事件，我们应该时刻保持着忧患意识，同时我们应该自强不息，大力发展我们的国力。（2）民本思想。当然古代“民本”的真正内涵，不是也不可能是人民的利益。今天我们剔除其封建内核，则可以从人民当家作主的角度来转化古代的民本思想，将其发展为人民的利益高于一切的社会主义观念。（3）天人合一、人与自然和谐相处。对于提倡构建和谐社会的今天，儒家思想内涵里所包括的德治、人治和礼治思想，无不涵盖着和谐的理念。（4）中庸精神是儒家思想的精华。中国文化就是以中庸精神为核心的礼乐文化。作为传统文化，人们认为“中庸精神”就是适度把握，按照适中方式做事，并力求保持在一个合情合理的范围之内。（5）与时俱进的时代精神。儒家传统思想发展至今，之所以影响深远，关键在于它能根据统治者和社会的需要而不断得到改造，体现出与时俱进的时代精神。ThepracticalsignificanceofConfucianismModernpeople,althoughmateriallivingconditionshaveimproved,buttheirheartempty,thereisnosenseofbelonging.Althoughitisfree,buttherearealotoftrouble.IthaveagreatrelationshipwithlackofConfucianwisdom,lackofself-disciplineandmoral.IfapersonabandonConfucianvalues(self-disciplineandmoral),liketheWesternnon-religiouspeople,foreverisnotaperfectperson.Withtoday'sdiscourseisconcerned,ConfucianismwasunderstoodtobethecoreofhumancivilizationintheancientChinese.Inthefaceoftheseresources,modernpeoplehaveafreedomofchoice,canabsorbsomeoftheresourcesinsidecomponents,alsocanabandonsomeelements.IthinkweshouldcarryforwardtheChinesenation'sfinetraditionofus,thatisinclusive,thatis,tomakethepastservethepresent,tocriticizeandinherit.Confucianthoughtshavewhatpracticalsignificancetous?Basedonacriticalinheritanceandsublimation,Ipersonallythinkmainlyinthefollowingfouraspects:(1)Thespiritofunremittingself-improvementandsufferingconsciousness:Unremittingself-improvementisaninexhaustiblemotiveforcefortheChinesenationtopreservethevigoroflifeandgrowthinnature.Onbehalfofhardshipconsciousnessisanoblepersonality,embodiesakindofsenseofsocialresponsibilityandhistoricmission.Underthesurfaceofseemingpeaceinthemodern，ourcountrystillfacesmanychallenges,suchas"Diaoyuislands"event,weshouldalwaysmaintainasenseofurgency,andweshouldbeself-improvement,todevelopourstrength.(2)Thethoughtofthepeople:Ofcourse,therealconnotationoftheancient"people",nottheinterestsofthepeople.Todaywerejectthefeudalkernel,youcantransformtheancientthoughtofthepeoplefromtheperspectiveofthepeoplebeinpower,itsdevelopmentforthepeople'sinterestsaboveeverythingelsetheconceptofsocialism.(3)Theunityofheavenandman,manandnatureliveinharmony:Topromotethebuildingofaharmonioussocietytoday,includingthethoughtsoftheConfucianthoughtintheruleofvirtue,theruleofmanandtheruleofrite,itcoversaharmoniousidea.(4)ThedoctrineofthemeanthoughtistheessenceofConfucianism:Chineseculturalritualandmusiccultureisthecorespiritofthedoctrineofthemean.Asatraditionalculture,modernpeoplethink"thedoctrineofthemean"spiritismoderate,doingthingsaccordingtomoderateway,andstrivetokeepwithinthescopeofareasonable.(5)Thespiritofadvancingwiththetimes:TraditionalConfucianthoughtshaveafar-reachingimpactonourlivesintoday,thekeyliesinittotherulersandthesocietyhavebeentransformed,embodiesthespiritofadvancingwiththetimes.
