《血与大地》第8章英汉翻译实践报告摘要本文是一篇英汉翻译实践报告。翻译材料选自美国作家凯文·贝尔斯（KevinBales）于2013年出版的纪实小说《血与地球》（BloodandEarth）第八章，共计13463个词。该书目前尚无中文译本出版。这本书属于纪实文学作品，其最大的特点就是兼备纪实性与文学性于一体，在反应客观历史事实的基础上，又有艺术的手法加工，因此具有很高的翻译价值。笔者以美国语言学家尤金·奈达的功能对等理论为指导。全文由五个部分组成，第一部分为任务描述，笔者对翻译源文本所选章节的内容和作者以及此次翻译实践的目的和意义进行简要介绍。第二部分为过程描述，阐述了笔者所做的译前准备工作以及翻译过程和译后处理。第三部分的主要内容是译前准备，介绍了功能对等理论的相关知识，译前所准备的翻译工具等。第四部分为案例分析，笔者通过运用增译，词义转换，长难句拆分和重组等翻译策略，从词汇和句法层面对翻译当中遇到的重难点进行分析，以谋求与源文本实现最大程度的“对等”。第五部分，笔者对此次翻译实践报告做了总结。通过此次翻译实践笔者更加深刻地认识到翻译理论对于指导翻译实践中的重要性。关键词：《血与大地》纪实文学功能对等理论翻译实践AbstractThisisanEnglish-Chinesetranslationpracticereport.Thetranslationmaterialisselectedfromchapter8ofthedocumentaryfictionBloodandEarthbytheAmericanwriterKevinBalespublishedin2013.AndthereisnoChineseversiononthemarketyet.Thisbookisadocumentaryliteratureworkwhosebiggestcharacteristicisdocumentaryaswellasliterariness.Onthebasisofreflectingtheobjectivehistoricalfacts,documentaryliteratureisprocessedwithartistictechniques,soithashightranslationvalue.ThereportisguidedbytheFunctionalEquivalenceTheoryofAmericanlinguistEugeneNida.Therearefivepartsinthereport.Thefirstpartistaskdescription,inwhichtheauthorbrieflyintroducesthecontentandtheauthoroftheselectedchapter,aswellasthepurposeandsignificanceofthetranslationpractice.Thesecondpartistheprocessdescription,whichdescribestheauthor'spre-translationpreparation,translationprocessandpost-translationprocessing.Thethirdpartismainlyaboutpre-translationpreparation,introducingtherelevantknowledgeofFunctionalEquivalenceTheoryandtranslationtoolspreparedbeforetranslation.Thefourthpartiscaseanalysis.Throughtheapplicationoftranslationstrategiessuchasamplification,conversion,divisionandcombination,theauthoranalyzesthekeyanddifficultpointsintranslationfromthelevelofwordsandsyntax,toachievethemaximumdegreeof“equivalence”withthesourcetext.Inthefifthpart,theauthormadeasummeryaboutthetranslationpracticereport.Throughthistranslationpractice,theauthorhascometoadeeperunderstandingoftheimportanceoftranslationtheoryinguidingtranslationpractice.Keywords：BloodandtheEarthDocumentaryliteratureFunctionalEquivalenceTheoryTranslationpracticeContents摘要...........................................................................................................................................ⅠAbstract..................................................................................................................................IIChapter1TaskDescription.............................................................................................11.1SourceoftheTask..........................................................................................................11.2PurposeandMeaningoftheTranslationTask...............................................................11.3BackgroundInformationofthetext...............................................................................2...
