第一部分：乾陵简介（AbriefintroductionaboutQianling)乾陵是一座位于中华人民共和国陕西省咸阳市乾县梁山的唐朝墓葬，在唐代首都长安（今西安）西北方向约85公里处。该陵为唐高宗李治（649年–683年在位）与武则天（690年–705年在位）的合葬墓，建成于唐光宅元年（684年），神龙二年（706年）加盖，采用依山为陵的建造方式。乾陵最著名的就是它气势磅礴的陵园规划，以及地表上大量的唐代石刻。除主墓外，乾陵还有十七个小型陪葬墓，葬有其他皇室成员与功臣。乾陵是唐十八陵中主墓保存最完好的一个，截至2013年仅开掘了五个陪葬墓，从中出土了大量的文物。LyingontheLiangshanhill,6kmnorthofQianxiancounty,andabout76kmfromtheancientcityofXi’an,QianlingisthejointtombofGaozong(Lizhi,628-683A.D.),thethirdemperoroftheTangdynastyandhisEmpressconsort,WuZetian(624-705A.D.),theonlyEmperssinChinesehistory.第二部分：景区重要景点介绍（introductionaboutsomeimportantscenicspots)LiangshanLiangshanHill,1047.5metersabovesealevel,isnaturallyconstitutedoflimerockwith3peaks,ofwhichthenorthpeakisthehighest.Thetwopeaksinthesouthfaceeachother,easttowest.Hencethefolkstherecallthem＂NippleHills＂.ThelayoutthegrandioseQianlingmausoleumimitatesChang’ancity(formernameforXi’anintheTangDynasty),includingthreeparts:thepalacecity,theinnercityandtheoutercity.OamentalcolumnsOrnamentalcolumns,alsoknownasstoneposts,areusuallyerectedinfrontofthebombpassage.ThereisapairofornamentalcolumnsatQianlingMausoleum.Theyare8metersinheightand1.22metersindiameter,eachofwhichconsistsofasquare-shapedbaseandanoctahedralbody.Theconnectionsbetweenthebaseandthecolumnarecarvedintheform.oflotuspetalswithgrassandpomegranateflowerdesignsinbetween,andthecapofthecolumnsareinpeachshapes.Omamentalcolumnsaresymbolicsculpturesofanimperialmausoleum.61stonefigures61stonefigures,nowheadless,standonbothsidesoftheScarletBirdGate,29ontheeastsideand32onthewest,withthenormalheightof1.6metersandwidthof0.65meter.Fromthedressingandtheinscriptionsonthebacksofthesefigures,theywereapparentlynotHanofficials.TwofiguresonthewestsidewithhalfheadremainingshowthattheyaretypicalMid-Asianswithdeepeyes,thickeyebrows,bignosesandshortmustaches.WordlesstabletThewordlesstablet,engravedoutofawholeboulder,is8.03metersinheightand98.84tonsinweight.ItislocatedontheeasternsideoftheScarletBirdGate.ThetabletwashonoredastheNo.1tabletbysucceedingdynastieseventhoughnowordwaswrittenonitwhenfirstlybuilt.ThereasonwhyEmpressWuZetianbuiltsuchawordlesstablethasremainedamysteryforthousandsofyears.HolyDeedsTabletHolyDeedsTablet,alsocalledtheseven-jointtablet,wasbuiltwiththeorderofWuZetiantocommemorateherhusbandemperorGaoZongintheTangDynasty.Thetabletmeasures6.3metershigh,1.86meterswide,insevensections.Thetopsectionservesastheroof,thefivesectionsinthemiddleserveasthebody,andthebottomservesasitsbasewithdifferentanimalpatternscarvedonit.Over6000characterinscriptionswerecarvedonthebodyofthetabletwhichZhongZong,inpraiseofEmperorGaoZong’sachievements.MausoleummuralsThemuralsareoneofmajorculturalrelicsexcavatedfromtheQianlingmausoleum.Theyareoflarge-scale,eleganttaste,extensivethemesandnovelcontent.About1200squaremetersofgrandiosepaintingswereuncoveredinthesatellitetombsofPrincessYongtai,PrinceZhanghuaiandPrinceYidetoform.anundergroundTangDynastyfineartexhibition.Amongthem,PalaceMaids,PoloGame,MeetingwithGuests,Hunting,andBirdPreyingonCicadaprovidevaluableinformationaboutarchitecture,dressing,customs,sportsandpalacelifeintheTa...
