论文题目(Title)功能对等视角下“三美”论的体现—以许渊冲英译李清照词为例TheEmbodimentof“ThreeBeauties”PrincipleundertheViewofFunctionalEquivalence:ACaseStudyofXuYuanchong’sTranslationofLiQingzhao’sCiPoems中心论点(ThesisStatement):本论文主要通过奈达的功能对等理论,来分析许渊冲对李清照词的翻译,从而体现出许渊冲的“三美”理论ThesisStatement:ThispapermainlyanalyzesthetranslationofLiQingzhao’sCipoemsbyNida'sFunctionalEquivalenceTheory,whichreflectsYuanchong’s"ThreeBeauties"principle.本研究目的和意义:目的:本研究旨在研究许渊冲对李清照词的英译,体现出他的“意美、音美、形美”理论对中国诗词翻译更具有针对性,从中找出宋词的翻译技巧,为西方读者提供优越的翻译版本。Purpose:ThispaperaimsatmakingastudyofXuYuanchong’stranslationofci-poemscomposedbyLiQingzhao,andreflectshistheoryof“beautyinsense,soundandform”ismoretargetedtotheChinesepoetrytranslation,aswellasfindsthetranslationskillsofSongCi,soastoprovidethewestreaderswithsuperiortranslationversions.意义:宋词是中国几千年古典文化的珍贵遗产和积淀,以其独特的艺术魅力在文学史上占有重要地位。而李清照是我国历史上杰出的女作家,一生跨越南北两宋,对我国古典诗词发展产生了深远影响,是中国古代文学创作的代表。因此,对其进行翻译研究有助于把中国文化更好的对外传播。此外,用功能对等理论作为理论基础,从不同方面分析许渊冲对李清照词的翻译,从而对李清照的词以及宋词有更好的研究。Significance:SongCiisthepreciousheritageandaccumulationofChineseclassicalcultureforthousandsofyears,occupyinganimportantpositioninthehistoryofliteraturewithitsuniqueartisticcharm.LiQingzhaoisoneofthemostoutstandingfemalewritersinancientChina.HerlifespansbothNorthandSouthSongdynasties.ShehasaprofoundinfluenceonthedevelopmentofclassicalChinesepoemsandisrepresentativeofChineseancientliterature.Therefore,thestudyofitstranslationwillhelptobetterspreadtheChineseculture.Furthermore,withtheFunctionalEquivalenceTheoryasthetheoreticalbasis,wechooseanalyzingXuYuanchong’stranslationofLiQingzhao’sCipoemsfromdifferentaspects;weintendtofindpossiblerulesandpatternsintranslationofLiQingzhao’sCipoems.AlltheseeffortsareofgreatsignificanceonthetranslationofLi1Qingzhao’sCipoemsandSongCipoemsasawhole.本研究的理论意义(国内外文献综述):DomesticResearch:ThefirsttranslationofCiPoemsofLiQingzhaowasdonebyBingXininhergraduatethesisforamaster’sdegreein1926,inwhichshetranslatestwentyfiveCiPoemsofLiQingzhao.ChuDagaowasalsoamongtheearliesttointroduceLiQingzhao’sCiPoemsintotheEnglishworld.Fromthenon,itwasuntil1960sthatappearedtwotranslatedversions2andallthetranslatedversionswerepublishedinAmerica.TillnowininlandXuYuanchongistheonlywhohastranslatedallthesixtyCiPoemsofLiQingzhaoinLiteratureandTranslationpublishedin2003.AsthetranslationpracticeproceededinChina,thetranslationstudiesonLiQingzhaocameintobeingintheearly1980s.In1981,XuYuanchongpublishedaresearcharticle,TheCriteriaofTranslationinwhichheintroducedthefamous“ThreeBeauties”Theory.Fromtheverystart,Prof.Xusetaveryhighstandardofpoetrytranslation“beautyinsense,beautyinsoundandbeautyinform”.Itisaveryconcreteandcomprehensivetheoryofpoetrytranslation.国外研究:Asamatteroffact,scholarsabroadhavealsomadeathoroughandoverallstudyoverthetranslationofLiQingzhao’sCi.Ofalltheseoverseastranslators,KennethisdefinitelyoneoftheprominentonesinbringingLi’sworkstothewesternworld.WithSanFranciscoRenaissanceasthehistoricbackground,Kennethtookhisfirstattempttotrans...
