As an English learner, we know the status and function of vocabulary in English learning. However, vocabulary learning is a difficult task for many students. Many students lose interest in learning English because they can not master the vocabulary .Therefore, the research of study strategy is particularly important. This paper mainly through the literature research and questionnaire investigation, making an investigation and analysis on the vocabulary learning strategies of middle school students in terms of their vocabulary learning concept ,learning strategies and other aspect. The results show that the overall level of strategies used by middle school students is low, the strategies training need to be strengthened. So it suggests to promote the effective strategy, and according to the views of experts and teachers to explore how to teach vocabulary training strategies.
