As the bulk of the community, residents have a clear understanding of their status as a major portion of the community to play an increasingly important role in building a harmonious society and should play its due role. Community building is a microcosm of social construction, community management is reflected in the level of social management, community consciousness is one of the symbols of social democratic participation.This article will analyze the residents’ participation in social construction through the investigation of Huangchong community, analyze the residents themselves, the system constraints and the community committee, and summarize the meaningful viewpoints in the study for the purpose of studying residents ’participation in community construction.
