These books and articles explore English pronunciation, and they are helpful to a detailed analysis on obstacles and countermeasures of English pronunciation teaching in primary school. In the 1970s, the phonics teaching was influenced by the communicative teaching approach, and began to focus on the cultivation of communication ability. The communicative teaching approach views that the prior purpose of language is communication. Celce Murcia’s Pronunciation Teaching is the most authorized one.
