First of all, by consulting the relevant literature to understand the current situation and existing problems of cold chain distribution, this paper expounds the related theories of cold chain logistics and distribution, distribution center, and related VRP,and analyzes the problems existing in the distribution link of J company, collects and studies the distribution data of J company, converts inge-latitude-to-realistic plane coordinates and then calculate them, then uses the saving odometer method to solve the distribution model of J company. Secondly, through the comparison of distance, cost and load rate before and after optimization, it is proved that the algorithm is effective in solving the distribution route problem of J Company. Finally, the mileage saving algorithm is realized by using MATLAB. The results show that by using the mileage saving method to plan the vehicle path of company J, the investment of vehicles and personnel can be reduced, the driving distance can be shortened, and the customer can be provided with faster delivery service.
